I am seeking challenging opportunities in the position as world peace cfun center President and
Vice-Chancellor for UBC. + chiyu bank + unesco university
As my resume shows, I have had excellent career progression in the
university field. Unfortunately, Weston Reserve University (NGO)
a non-profit school is lack of funding. I am looking for new position in
the education field.
You will have note that I have established excellent track record for
managing people, and resolving conflicts. (please see attached reference
letter from University of Toronto).
If I am the new president of UBC, I hope that the following ideas can be
implemented to follow the strategic plan of TREK.
I hope that the board of directors can review my ideas.
A research village will be located on campus. This is used to attract
and retain the best of minds to further their research at UBC. At the
moment, housing cost is becoming an ever increase concern. UBC can retain
better people if UBC play a vital part in providing the solution of
housing to researchers. Researchers will be focused and concentrated to
do what they are best to do. The burden of raising family and child care
Limit of President income
Food policy-research in green house technology
Reduce risk of bio-technology start-up business
Play an active role to reduce the waste of talents-immigrant doctor- and
This is an investment strategy for parents.
Parent can prepare their children tuition by saving and commiting to an
education plan monitored by investment professional directed by UBC.
Save 2 dollars a day for your children.
Adopt a first year student
global research team start-up
Human resource management- reduce idle workers
UBC community spirit day
Adoption of “World peace” in UBC strategic plan
All first year student must complete a course in Ethics and world
waste reduction target
Energy use reduction target
International student settlement service
I think UBC will benefit the community by emphasizing the development of
the whole person more than the acquisition of specific skill. UBC will
prepare our future generations to be flexible and open learner. As
technology and globalization speed up the rate of change. UBC should
encourage student to be a life learner —– a holistic person that will
learn and create multidimensiona solution to our problems.
UBC should play a key role in cultivating compassion-first year student
should be pair up with students (locally and internationally) from
economically disadvantaged part of the world. Students will be able to
talk to, learn and make friends from people with different background.
I hope that my passion and energy can be used to explore and guide the
hidden potential for future UBC students.
Thank you for your time.
